We are proud to share that LaSalle Agri was recognized with the Environmental Sustainability Award at Canada's Outdoor Farm Show in September 2025 — one of the country's most prestigious agricultural events, covered by leading industry outlet Farmtario.
This recognition reflects what we have been working toward since day one: developing fertilizer solutions that not only improve crop performance but also reduce the environmental footprint of farming. Our AgroBOOST fertilizer — made from recovered nutrients that would otherwise end up in landfills or waterways — was highlighted as a model of what responsible innovation in agriculture can look like.
What the Award Means to Us
Being recognized on a national stage means a great deal to our team. We are a farmer-owned company, and everything we do is driven by a commitment to the land — the same land our customers farm and the land their children will inherit. When an organization like Canada's Outdoor Farm Show acknowledges that commitment publicly, it validates the work of every person on our team.
The award specifically highlighted our contribution to reducing landfill waste by diverting nutrient-rich materials from disposal streams and returning them to farmland as premium fertilizer. This circular approach has prevented millions of pounds of phosphorus and nitrogen from entering the environment while delivering measurable yield improvements for Ontario farmers.
Covered by Farmtario
We were honoured to have this achievement covered by Farmtario, a trusted voice in Ontario and Canadian agriculture. Their coverage brought attention to the broader conversation around sustainable nutrient management — a topic we believe deserves more space in mainstream agricultural media.
